Peperomia belongs to the family Piperaceae. They are known for their ornamental foliage and sometimes for their attractive flowers. With more than 1,000 known species, all with fleshy, thick leaves, these Plants can survive drought situations to certain levels. Peperomia is known to be a wonderful flowering house Plants, depending on its species. The leaves may be smooth, textured, green, red, gray, variegated or solid, marbled, large, tiny or heart shaped. It is surprising to note that the Peperomia genus may look so different from one another, that it is sometimes difficult to comprehend their relation and families. However, they have some common attributes of being slow growers and needing low maintenance and care.
Care Instructions: TEMPERATURE - 18° – 30°c LIGHT - Peperomia needs bright and indirect light almost through out the year for its proper growth. However, it will be able to survive in low light area as well. Direct Sun is not recommended as it may harm its leaves.
